Server migration temporary IP

Our server is getting migrated again which means that the brainswitch adress might not work before it has been rerouted after the move. If you're trying to log in and can't try using malomaxdew.gameserv.co to connect until the brainswitch adress is up and running again.

The planned server migration will take place tomorrow the 20th of October according to our host. It means that at some point during the day the server will be shut down and the server files moved to another place. When that happens the numerical IP of the server will change and I will have to ask my nephew, who owns the brainswitch address, to rerout it to point to the new IP. Since we don't know at what time during the day it will happen we cannot reroute immediately and that's where the gameserv.co adress comes in since it is owned by our host and should follow our server wherever it ends up. After the server has been moved my nephew will rerout the brainswitch address for us, but it might take up to 24 hours before it works properly, so during that time you will need to use malomaxdew.gameserv.co. The gameserv address will work for as long as we have our server with the current host, but should we ever move it to another host it will stop working, and that's why we should always use the brainswitch address as our primary address. I hope this has cleared up any confusion - I know one player had questions so I'm guessing there are more of you out there wondering what I meant in my earlier post about this .

The server migration is all done now and the normal brainswitch IP is working as intended. The gameserv address for the creative server seems to be taking it's time though. If you need to access the creative server before it's up and running properly, you can use the numerical IP: 192.3.137.230

Our host says the new hardware that we've been moved to is better and that the network is better and faster too. Hopefully there will be performance improvements for everyone
